چکیده
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) refer to porous coordination materials that are formed from the assembly of metal ions and organic ligands. They have unique features, such as a large specific surface area, multiple active sites, easy functionalisation, adjustable biocompatibility. MOFs recently been widely used in field biomedical engineering owing their structures properties. This has enabled them replace traditional effectively address several problems. Through continuous development, MOF-based biomaterials remarkably improved by clarifying relationship between MOF As result, they being extensively studied fields chemical material science. can meet growing demands for efficient applications. review first discusses basic structure MOFs, followed preparation functionalisation methods. The applications antibacterial activity, tumour therapy, skin repair, bone repair then summarised. Finally, challenges future perspectives outlined.
